BEGINNER ACRYLIC CLASS

Hello everyone! Damon here.

Thank you for your interest in our upcoming beginner acrylic class. I’ve designed this course to simplify the learning process, making it accessible for beginners and enhancing the skills of those already familiar with acrylics.

During this class, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of creating strong, beautifully sculpted acrylic nails—from simple colors to intricate acrylic artworks. For those who are new to this craft, we'll start with the basics, such as achieving the correct liquid-to-powder ratio. Don't worry if you find it challenging initially; our hands-on approach means we'll guide you every step of the way.

For those already applying acrylic but lacking confidence in your work, this class is an opportunity to refine your skills and elevate your craft as a nail artist.

We Will Cover:

• Liquid-to-powder ratio
• Cuticle prep with e-file and cuticle nipper to prevent lifting
• Customizing nail forms
• Proper apex placement
• Achieving a consistent c-curve for coffin nails
• Efficient acrylic application to minimize filing
• Perfect shaping of all popular nail shapes
• Techniques for acrylic one-color, ombre, and encapsulated designs
• E-filing & hand filing techniques
• Ensuring perfect symmetry in your work
• Sealing acrylic around the cuticle area to prevent lifting
• Salon nail art techniques: gel art, 3D design, rhinestone application
• Bonus topics: Social media tips, photo/editing skills, and work ethics.

Please Bring:

• Acrylic brush (size 10 or 12 preferred), Liner Brush/3D brush
• E-file and bits (Carbide, mandrel, sanding bands, diamond cuticle bit of your choice)
• Small scissors, Dampen Dish/Liquid container
• Cuticle pusher and nipper
• Practice hand (or use your own hand)
• Long Extension Cord & Power Strip, Cell Phone Charger (optional)
• Nail lamp, nail glue

Note: If you are practicing on yourself, please arrive with bare nails (no acrylics or other enhancements).

Class Fees:

• $450 for 1 day
• Day 1: Beginner / Day 2: Intermediate
• $900 for 2 days
